Local DZ Box Truck Delivery Driver — $25/hr

This is a short-term local delivery job in Ottawa and the surrounding area, driving a 26ft box truck for a Canadian maker and distributor of concrete accessories. It is a full-time temporary contract of about 6-8 weeks, placed through the Truckker staffing platform.

Pay and schedule

• $25.00 per hour, paid by direct deposit every week

• Monday to Friday, with a 6:30 AM shift start listed and a 5:30 AM arrival expected

• Roughly 40-45 hours per week

• Contract runs 6-8 weeks

What you'll do

• Load the truck each morning with that day's orders

• Drive local routes to commercial and construction-site customers

• Unload by hand and lift heavy items at about 40% of stops where no help or equipment is on site

• Collect sign-offs and keep delivery paperwork accurate

• Walk around the vehicle before and after each trip and keep your log book up to date

What you need

• Valid DZ licence in good standing

• A current commercial driver's abstract (CVOR) and a clean criminal background check

• 2 years of commercial driving; 1 year in a box truck is preferred

• Proven time behind the wheel of a 26ft box truck

• Strength to lift 50+ lbs

• CSA-approved steel-toe boots

• Dependable 5:30 AM starts
