Class 1 Truck Driver — Grocery Distribution, 4-Day Schedule

Our company is hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver to support its grocery distribution network in Winnipeg, MB, delivering orders to retail stores and distribution centres. The role runs on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule totaling 40 hours a week, with start times ranging from 3:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and three days off weekly, including two consecutive days off.

What you'll do

• Inspect your truck before each trip and keep your manifest and logbook up to date

• Operate a transport truck or straight truck safely and courteously

• Load and unload freight carefully to avoid damage

• Confirm delivered case counts match orders and manage credits or damaged goods

• Report any equipment issues or needed repairs

• Keep a professional appearance and positive rapport with store staff

• Follow company safety procedures and driver guidelines

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license

• Minimum two years of experience driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck

• High school diploma

• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

• Able to handle physical tasks like frequent bending, lifting and standing for long periods

• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and lifting items over 50 lbs with a partner
