Our company in Winnipeg, MB is hiring for a lead courier-type driving role that also involves helping manage daily sort and delivery operations.
What you'll do
- Help supervise day-to-day sorting, pickup and delivery work, including remote locations where applicable
- Act as a team lead for your sector, setting an example of good communication and problem-solving
- Coach and mentor hourly staff and support conflict resolution
- Stay current on required safety and dangerous-goods training each year
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of recent courier experience
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving history
- Must complete and keep up with annual training, including dangerous goods certification
- Able to lift 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using equipment
- Good people skills, with the ability to train and motivate coworkers
- Quebec-based applicants must be fluent in both French and English
- Driving record reviewed as part of hiring: no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months
