CDL-1 Long Haul Truck Driver — $31.35/hr

Our company in Winnipeg, MB is looking for long haul truck drivers to join their fleet, with 4 openings available for permanent, full-time work starting as soon as possible.

Pay

• $31.35 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week

Route

• On-the-road position involving frequent or constant travel, with work locations that vary

• May involve driving solo, as part of a two-person team, or in convoy

What you'll do

• Operate straight or articulated trucks hauling goods and materials

• Check tires, brakes, lights, cold storage units and other equipment before and after trips

• Complete pre-trip, en route and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Handle routine preventive maintenance

• Stay in contact with dispatch and report cargo details, hours worked, mileage and fuel use

• Tarp loads and keep cargo safe and secure

Requirements

• Class 1 or Class A driver's license

• High school diploma or equivalent

• No prior experience needed; training is provided

• English language skills

• Comfortable with physically demanding work and long periods of sitting
