About this job
Our company, hauling freight across Canada and the US since 2004 for major Fortune 500 clients, is looking for experienced team drivers to run dedicated Canada-wide and US routes out of their Montreal-area location.
What you'll haul
- Reefer and dry van trailers
- Dedicated scheduled runs, including Montreal-Winnipeg round trips and a Montreal-Winnipeg-Chicago-Toronto/Montreal triangle route
- Expect roughly 20,000 to 24,000 miles per month
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license with at least one year of tractor-trailer experience in Canada or the US
- No more than two demerits or suspensions on your 5-year commercial abstract
- Clean criminal background and drug/alcohol clearinghouse history
- US Visa and FAST Card
- Comfortable working as part of a two-person team
What you'll do
- Drive a Class 1 semi-tractor trailer combination
- Keep in touch with dispatch, managers and the safety team
- Keep e-logs current and accurate
- Carry out vehicle inspections and safety checks
