Local Class 1 Driver — Home Every Evening

Transport Bourassa is hiring local Class 1 drivers out of its Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu area terminal. You start and finish each day at the terminal and sleep at home every night, on a stable full-time schedule.

Pay

• Yearly salary between $70,000 and $105,000

• Raises every year

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday over 5 days

• A 4-day week is available, and several schedules are offered

Equipment

• Trucks come with GPS, CB radio, heated seat and air conditioning

• Trucks are serviced and washed regularly

• Garage and mechanics are available around the clock, every day

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver freight for a range of customers

• Help load and unload with a pallet jack when needed

• Tie down freight with straps and load bars

• Confirm deliveries are correct and the freight is in good condition

• Handle delivery details on a mobile device

• Inspect the truck and report any problems

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• Good physical stamina, independence and organization

• Assets: flatbed or container experience, T endorsement, good knowledge of the area
