About this job
Our company is hiring local Class A CDL drivers for its Walgreens private fleet in Louisville, KY. You run a set route and are home every day, working Monday to Friday on an early-evening start.
Pay
- Starting rate is $0.595 per mile.
- On-duty time when you are not driving pays $29.25 per hour to start.
- Weekly pay is guaranteed at no less than 40 times your hourly rate.
- Pay goes up at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.
- Weekly earnings are listed at $1,170 - $1,500.
The run
- About 365 miles each night to Mt Vernon IL and back.
- Monday to Friday, starting in the early evening.
- You sleep in your own bed daily.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a doubles endorsement.
- Either 1 year of verifiable experience, or 6 months of experience together with a CDL school certificate.
- Ability to satisfy all DOT requirements.
- Now and then you will unload tailgated freight using conveyor rollers.
