Yard Jockey to Regional Flatbed CDL-A Driver — $30/hr Yard Pay

Rowdy FR8, a flatbed carrier running freight across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi, needs an experienced Class A CDL driver for a two-phase role based in Boling, TX. You'll start in the yard and move into a regional flatbed driving seat once the yard contract wraps up.

Pay

• Yard phase: $30 per hour, guaranteed at least 6 hours daily

• Driving phase: 27% of linehaul revenue once you transition to regional flatbed hauls

The role

For at least four months, you'll work Monday through Friday, on site and ready by 7:00 a.m., spotting and parking tractor-trailers (including 53-foot trailers) in tight yard spaces. You need to be able to get to Boling every workday during this stretch. Once that assignment ends, you'll shift into hauling regional flatbed loads: securing and inspecting freight, and running safe, on-time deliveries across the region. Both phases call for full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, prompt reporting of equipment issues, and compliance with DOT and FMCSA hours-of-service rules.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with at least two years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Clean driving and PSP records, no major violations or SAP history

• Comfortable with manual transmission trucks

• Skilled at maneuvering and parking 53-foot trailers in close quarters

• Solid grasp of load securement and DOT/FMCSA rules

• Flatbed experience and GPS route planning skills are a plus
