Warehouse Delivery Driver — Box Truck Route

Our company in Jonesboro, AR is looking for a driver who also handles warehouse work. You'll pull and stage parts, load the truck, drive a company box truck to deliver salvage parts to customers, then unload and handle returns and payments.

What you'll do

• Pull labeled parts for your route and stage them for loading

• Use a forklift or order selector to move parts around the warehouse

• Load the truck, check off parts against the delivery schedule, and verify the manifest and paperwork before heading out

• Help customers at the counter: take orders, pull products, load their vehicles

• Check stock levels for the inside sales team

• Drive a company box truck to customer locations, unload, verify parts delivered, and collect returns or payments

Requirements

• At least 6 months of warehouse experience

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• Must qualify for the company's insurance programs, including vehicle coverage

• Must meet DOT physical and testing standards and know DOT rules

• Minimum age 21

• Must follow applicable state, local, DOT and FMCSA requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Forklift certification and RF scanner familiarity are a plus

• Comfortable with basic math and computer use

What the job involves physically

• Driving most of the day, including sitting for up to 12 hours at a stretch

• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and similar movement as needed

• Occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds

• Exposure to fuel or exhaust fumes, sometimes requiring PPE

• Possible work in tight spaces, extreme temperatures, bright lighting or loud noise

• Daily travel for deliveries, with extensive overnight travel sometimes required
