Entry-Level CDL-A Truck Driver — Guaranteed $1,000/Week Solo Pay

This reefer carrier runs steady freight out of Texas with a hiring area that includes Hot Springs, and gets you home roughly every two weeks. New CDL-A holders are welcome to train with the company before running solo.

Pay

• New drivers earn $850 a week while training for 4 to 6 weeks, riding with an experienced mentor on real loads

• Orientation pay of $300, plus lodging covered during training

• Once solo, pay is guaranteed at $1,000 a week for your first 3 months

• After that, drivers typically bring home $1,300 to $1,500 a week

• Stop pay of $25 per stop

• Expect 1,800 to 2,000 miles weekly

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated trailers running between Texas and Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia

• Mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload freight

Home time

• Home roughly every other week

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 with a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of 120 hours of CDL school

• New CDL holders are welcome; experienced drivers need 6 months of driving in the past year or 12 months within the last 5 years

• Veterans with a DD214 will be considered

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years, and nothing serious in the last 12 months

• No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years, and no DUI or DWI within the last 5 to 10 years

• Must pass a hair and urine drug screen and show 3 years of verifiable work history
