Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily

Our company is looking for a Class A driver to run local routes out of Rochester, NY, home every day. This is a solo position delivering within a 200 air mile radius of the city.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Typical weekly average around $1,120

• Scheduled for 38-40 hours per week

Schedule

• Operation runs 7 days a week, with 2 days off

• Shifts begin at 7:00 AM

What you'll haul

• 53' dry van trailers pulled by a day cab tractor

• Touch freight consisting of donated goods

• You'll use a manual pallet jack, lift gates and rolling carts for loading and unloading

Equipment

Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside assistance and access to more than 800 maintenance locations nationwide.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass a drug screen, background check, MVR review and DOT physical

• Able to pass a company road test

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5, OR 5 years in the last 10

• Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, and apply relevant regulations

What you'll do

• Follow safety rules and applicable regulations

• Spot and reduce safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and paperwork

• Help load and unload freight when needed
