CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,400–$1,600/Week

This is a no-touch grocery account out of Johnstown, NY, running for Walmart, with openings for both experienced drivers and recent CDL graduates.

Pay

• Weekly pay runs $1,400–$1,600, paid every Friday, including for trainees

• Detention pay is $15 per hour

• Based on the weekly rate, annual earnings are estimated at $67,200 to $76,800

Home time

• If your routes keep you within 200 miles, you'll be home weekly after a 34-hour reset

• Otherwise, expect to run 5 weeks before getting 3 days home with your truck

• You'll need to let the company know about any holiday time off in advance

What you'll haul

• No-touch van freight, including night, weekend and winter driving

• Around 2,000 miles per trip

Requirements

• Valid, unexpired Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• New graduates accepted with a minimum of 120 training hours

• Moving violations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

• Be ready to complete both hair and urine drug screening
