About this job
Our company, a major FedEx Ground contractor, is looking for a step van delivery driver in Bethpage, NY. No CDL is required, but you'll need prior step van experience and a clean driving record.
Schedule
- Full-time, 5 days a week, including one Saturday or Sunday
- Shifts start at 8am, and you must be able to work at least one weekend day
Pay
- From $900.00 per week
What you'll do
- Drive a step van to deliver packages on your route
- Check your vehicle before and after each trip for safety and compliance
- Load and unload packages according to company procedures
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers to keep things running smoothly
- Get delivery confirmations and keep accurate records
- Represent the company with friendly, professional service
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience driving a step van
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Must be able to pass a driving test, a federal drug screen and a physical exam
- Good customer service skills and a dependable, safety-first attitude
- Must be 21 or older
