Sprinter Van Driver — OTR/Regional/Local — $0.30–$0.35/mi

Drive a company sprinter van hauling freight on over-the-road, regional and local routes out of Elizabeth, NJ. You'll handle deliveries end to end, from loading to paperwork, while keeping safety and schedules on track.

Pay

• $0.30 to $0.35 per mile

• $30 for each extra stop beyond the assigned route

• Detention pay of $15 per hour once you've waited more than 2 hours

• Layover pay of $65 per 24-hour period

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in a company-owned sprinter van across OTR, regional and local lanes

What the job involves

• Operating the van safely while keeping cargo secure

• Using GPS to stay on schedule and choose efficient, fuel-saving routes

• Loading and unloading freight by hand or with equipment, taking care to avoid damage

• Running pre-trip and post-trip checks on brakes, lights, tires and load security

• Keeping delivery logs and paperwork accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Valid driver's license

• Clean driving record

• Minimum age 23

• Prior experience driving a sprinter van; 1 year preferred

• Comfortable with GPS navigation and handling freight logistics
