About this job
MHS Lift needs a CDL-A driver holding a Hazmat endorsement to run a lowboy trailer hauling forklifts and other material handling equipment to and from customer sites in Pennsauken, NJ. You'll be back home every night, working Monday through Friday on day shift.

What you'll do
- Load, secure, haul and unload heavy equipment safely
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip truck and trailer inspections
- Keep loads properly secured and within DOT weight distribution rules
- Follow hazmat transport rules and company safety procedures
- Work with customers and internal teams to schedule pickups and drop-offs
- Keep accurate delivery and transport paperwork
- Flag any equipment damage, mechanical trouble, or safety issues
- Keep your assigned truck and trailer in safe condition
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Heavy equipment hauling experience strongly preferred; lowboy experience a plus
- Comfortable loading, securing and unloading forklifts or similar equipment
- Familiar with DOT rules, hazmat requirements, and load securement
- Clean driving record
- Able to maneuver large equipment at customer sites and in tight spaces
- Meets DOT driver qualification standards

$30-$40 an hour
