Shuttle Driver — Class 5/G, Full-Time, New Richmond, QC

Our company in New Richmond, QC is hiring a shuttle driver to move freight between and within its facilities. You'll run a non-articulated vehicle, handling loading, unloading and basic package checks. Note: this is an interview position.

What you'll do

• Haul freight to and from company facilities using a non-articulated vehicle

• Load and unload trucks and containers

• Check package size and weight

• Sort packages by service type and destination following company procedure

• Scan packages with handheld tracking devices

• Follow safety rules when handling freight

• Keep FedEx and customer property (packages, gear, vehicles) secure

• Wash and do light upkeep on your vehicle as needed

• Follow local airport authority rules

• Drive and operate equipment safely, in line with government and company rules

• Occasionally make emergency pickups or deliveries (under 10% of your time)

• Take on other related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must pass all required initial and refresher training

• Valid, fully unrestricted Class 5 or Class G license with a clean driving history

• Familiarity with FedEx Express Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is a plus

• Able to lift 70 lbs on your own, or move packages up to 150 lbs with equipment or help

• Strong people skills

• Bilingual in French and English (required for all Quebec-based roles)

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, starting around 8:30 AM.
