Delivery Driver — Flexible Shifts

Our company is looking for a local delivery driver in Mirabel, QC to pick up and drop off packages on an assigned route. Shifts are flexible, with a minimum of 4 shifts required each month.

What you'll do

• Collect and deliver packages along your assigned route, checking each one against our company's service standards

• Load your vehicle and plan your route to work efficiently and keep packages, equipment and vehicles secure

• Use onboard tracking and dispatch systems, entering accurate information

• Answer customer questions about service options and Canadian, US and international shipping requirements

• Flag sales opportunities and market changes to the sales team

• Depending on the location and workload, you may also help load or unload aircraft and containers, or sort and scan packages

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license (class 5, G, or 1/AZ) with a clean record — no more than two infractions or accidents in the last 24 months

• About a year of customer-facing work experience is preferred

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs with the right equipment

• Must pass the required pre-placement driving assessment

• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills, and the ability to stay composed under pressure

• If you're based in Quebec, you need to be fluent in both French and English
