What you'll haul

• General freight in a 26-foot box truck

• Routes may shift between local and over-the-road depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Navigate assigned routes using GPS

• Load, secure, and unload cargo, including manual handling

• Check your truck and freight before and during trips, flagging any safety or delivery problems right away

• Stay compliant with DOT, FMCSA, and any applicable hazardous materials rules

Requirements

• A valid driver's license suited to a non-CDL vehicle

• Safe driving habits and the physical ability to load and unload freight

• Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is a plus, as is manual transmission experience

• Background in auto transport, logistics, tractor-trailer, reefer, flatbed, or tanker work is useful but not mandatory
