About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run a regional route out of Newark, NJ, hauling mostly no-touch dry van freight with frequent drop-and-hook loads and weekly home time.
Pay
- Average weekly pay: $1,150 to $1,600
Home time
- Home every week for about a 34-hour reset, mostly over the weekend
What you'll haul
- About 95 percent no-touch dry van freight
- Frequent drop-and-hook assignments
- Routes run through the Midwest and Southeast, avoiding New York City and the boroughs
Equipment
- Assigned International, Freightliner, or Kenworth tractor
- Opti-Idle climate system and 1,500-watt power inverter
- Routine maintenance to keep trucks dependable
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable driving record
- Must meet DOT and company safety requirements
