About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time pickup and delivery driver in Squamish, BC. You will run an assigned route, collecting and delivering packages while looking after customers. This is an interview position.
Pay
- $24 an hour, full-time
What you'll do
- Run an assigned route, picking up and delivering packages
- Check each shipment against our company's service features
- Handle customer service tasks that come with the route
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record: no more than two violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months
- Able to lift 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- Pass the mandatory driver assessment training before placement
- Willing to work varied schedules and holidays as business needs require
Nice to have
- One year of customer-focused business experience
- Some knowledge of our company operations and Canadian customs rules
- Strong communication, time management and customer service skills
