Our company in Abbotsford, BC is hiring a Class 1 truck driver for full-time flatbed work in Canada and the USA. You can run solo or as part of a team.
Pay
- $61,789.72–$116,277.04 per year
The work
- Flatbed freight hauled across Canada and the USA, on the road
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Loading and unloading with forklifts or other heavy equipment when needed
- Keeping delivery logs and paperwork accurate and up to date
- Basic troubleshooting or repairs to keep the truck ready to roll
- Staying in touch with dispatchers, warehouse staff and clients about schedules and delivery issues
What you need
- A valid commercial licence and a clean driving record
- Experience with freight trucks and heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Good organization and attention to detail for records and compliance
- The physical ability to handle freight and carry out inspections
- Prior commercial driving or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowing automotive repair basics is a bonus, not a requirement
