About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time courier in Squamish, BC to run an assigned pick-up and delivery route. You will handle packages, verify shipments and deal with customers along the way. This is an interview position.
Pay
- $24.00 per hour, full time
What you'll do
- Collect and deliver parcels on your assigned route
- Confirm each shipment matches our company Canada's service features
- Help customers with questions related to their shipments
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent
- A valid driver's license (for example Class 5, G or 1 [AZ]) and a clean record, with no more than two violations or accidents in the 24 months before you apply
- Able to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- You must reach the minimum score on the required pre-placement driver assessment
- Open to varying schedules and holidays as business needs change
- Preferred: 1 year of customer-focused work experience; some knowledge of our company Canada operations and Canadian Customs rules is an asset
- Strong communication, time management and customer service skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure
