Part-Time CDL-A Milk Tanker Driver — Home Daily, $29–$32/Hour

Our company needs a part-time CDL-A driver in Farmersville Station, NY to haul raw milk by tanker from farms to processing plants. You'll be home every day, with shifts covering both mornings and afternoons.

Pay

• $29-$32/Hour

• Weekend premium pay and bonus eligibility

• Shift coverage includes both AM and PM

What you'll haul

• Raw milk, moved in DFA tank trailers between farms, depots and processing plants

• Routes cover various streets, highways and rural access roads, following dispatch instructions

What the job involves

• Pulling quality control samples and measuring milk loads at farms

• Running the truck efficiently to cut down on idle time and fuel use

• Connecting and disconnecting hoses, climbing ladders, and hooking/unhooking trailers

• Confirming load numbers, seal numbers and other paperwork match the delivery

• Taking apart, cleaning and reassembling trailer pumps to keep things at food-grade cleanliness

• Following DOT rules and DFA's commercial vehicle and safety policies at all times

• Representing DFA professionally with customers and regulators

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL in your state of residence

• Tanker endorsement, or willingness to get one

• At least 21 years old

• One year of CDL driving experience, or a recent graduate of an FMCSA-approved driving school

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Solid understanding of DOT rules and safety regulations

• Able to pass MVR, DOT and background screening requirements

• Clear written and spoken English

• Comfortable with basic math and measurements

• Able to work without close supervision
