Owner-Operator Truck Driver — Intermodal Freight, Home Most Nights

Our company is looking for Owner Operator truck drivers to run intermodal freight out of its Montreal terminal, covering first and last mile moves including inter-provincial and cross-border trips into the USA. You'll be home most nights, with occasional overnight stays depending on dispatch.

Pay

• Earn between $100,000 and $160,000 per year.

• Paid twice a month.

• $1,500 yearly safety bonus for accident-free driving.

• Paid wait times, plus reimbursement for permits, plating, border fees and tolls.

• Optional fuel bonuses and group insurance available.

Fuel savings

• Fuel Subsidy Program lets you pay only 37.7 cents per litre, which can save you more than $65,000 a year.

What you'll haul

• Intermodal freight dispatched from the Montreal terminal, with loads available 7 days a week.

• Work includes inter-provincial routes and cross-border runs into the USA.

Home time

• Local/regional runs let you be home most nights.

Requirements

• Class 1 driver's license.

• Must live within a 90-minute drive of Montreal and currently reside in Canada within the Montreal hiring area.

• At least 3 years of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.

• Must own or be purchasing a truck no older than seven years; an immediate start is possible if your current tractor passes our company's safety check.

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is preferred.

• English proficiency required; French is an asset.
