OTR Truck Driver — Vehicle Hauling to South Texas

Our company in McAllen, TX is looking for a truck driver to haul vehicles from across the country into South Texas. You'll handle loading, unloading and securing of vehicle freight while running over-the-road routes.

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver vehicles hauled in from around the country to destinations in South Texas

• Load and unload vehicles using manual methods or equipment, securing them properly for transport

• Plan and run your routes with GPS to stay on schedule

• Keep accurate logs covering hours, inspections and deliveries

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your truck

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details and handle any issues on the road

Requirements

• Solid background in commercial truck driving, including route and delivery work

• Comfortable with freight handling and loading/unloading procedures, including forklift use where needed

• Able to navigate OTR routes using GPS

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety rules and hazard communication standards

• Experience with manual handling techniques for moving cargo safely

Pay

$170.00 - $175.00 per day
