About this job
Our company is looking for a company driver to run OTR routes hauling temperature-controlled freight in a reefer trailer, keeping cargo quality intact from pickup to delivery.
Pay
- $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated freight, monitoring the trailer and cargo temperature throughout the trip
Responsibilities
- Drive over-the-road routes and complete assigned deliveries safely
- Plan and adjust trips using GPS navigation
- Load and unload freight by hand when needed, securing it properly
- Keep accurate trip and delivery paperwork, following FMCSA/DOT and hazmat rules where they apply
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving credentials and a clean driving record
- Able to handle a tractor-trailer, including manual transmission if assigned
- Working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT rules and safe freight handling
- Experience with reefer trailers, OTR driving, and loading/unloading is a plus
- Hazmat, flatbed, or tanker familiarity is a plus
