About this job
Our company is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated local route based out of Casa Grande, AZ. You'll run a predictable daily schedule, stay close to home, and never touch the freight yourself.
Pay
- Weekly earnings between $1,250 and $1,500
- Pay comes from several sources: Mileage Band Pay, guaranteed Stop Pay, and Detention Pay
Home time
- Return home after every shift
What you'll haul
- Routes launch daily from the Walmart Distribution Center in Casa Grande, AZ
- Deliveries go to retail stores within a 225-mile radius of the DC
- Expect 8 to 15 loads weekly, averaging 3 to 4 stops per load
- All freight is live-unloaded by store receivers, so there's no physical handling for you
Equipment
- Late-model, company-maintained day cabs with automatic transmissions
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of verifiable solo Class A driving experience
- Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and overnight dispatches
- Reliable personal transportation to reach the Casa Grande yard daily, since this is a slip-seat operation and trucks stay on site
- Must live within 50 miles of Casa Grande, AZ
- Must pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
