About this job
Our company, based in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, supplies waffle irons and mix to foodservice customers across North America. They're looking for a Class A driver to run long-haul routes hauling their equipment and freight between the manufacturing facility and warehouses nationwide.
Home time
Expect to be out for 10 to 14 consecutive overnight stays before getting scheduled time off. Some overnight shifts can run up to six days in a row.
What you'll haul
You'll transport company products and equipment from the manufacturing facility to warehouses and other destinations, helping load and unload carefully at each stop.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean record
- At least 2 years behind the wheel, ideally in logistics or distribution
- Able to lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs and handle freight by hand
- Comfortable with overnight shifts and long stretches on the road
- Solid grasp of DOT rules and proper load securement
- Able to pass a drug test and background check
- Forklift certification or willingness to train
