About this job
Our company, based in Wake Forest, NC, is hiring OTR bulk truck drivers to deliver freight across the country in a company-provided truck. You will work independently on multi-week trips and handle loading, unloading and securing freight yourself.
Pay
- Weekly pay between $700 and $1,300.
- Pay is load based.
- Training is paid.
Schedule and home time
- You run 14 days on the road, then take 7 days off.

What you'll do
- Drive the assigned routes in a company bulk truck and deliver on time while following all traffic and safety rules.
- Load, unload and secure freight, including heavy items moved with a pallet jack.
- Check the truck before trips and report any maintenance problems or incidents.
- Keep trip and delivery records accurate and stay in touch with dispatch about delays and route changes.
- Keep the truck and your appearance clean and professional.
Requirements
- A valid Class C license or the state equivalent.
- Age 21 or older, with a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screening before hiring.
- Comfortable with long drives, multi-week trips and lifting heavy items.
- Dependable, able to work on your own, and good with customers.
