About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-A solo and team drivers for long OTR routes out of Durham, NC. The freight is all no-touch, with plenty of drop & hook loads, and you get home every one to two weeks. The company is 100% employee-owned, so drivers receive company shares.
Pay
- Solo drivers start at up to 69 CPM, plus a 4 CPM safety/service bonus.
- Teams start at 82-88 CPM depending on location, plus the same 4 CPM bonus.
- Pay increases come quickly and are not capped as you gain experience.
- Base CPM runs from 47 to 88, and amounts can vary by job type, location, experience and performance; a recruiter can confirm details.
- OTR drivers get pay protection of up to $1,000 gross per week.
- Layover and breakdown time pays $75.
- You're paid for every mile run up to the payroll cutoff.
Home time and freight
- Planned home time every one to two weeks.
- Long OTR hauls with 100% no-touch freight and a high share of drop & hook.

Veterans
- At least half of your time in service counts toward your starting pay rate, and 88MIC experience counts in full.
- You'll need a DD214 showing honorable discharge to verify the credit.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 21 years old.
- 3 months of first-seat CDL-A experience.
