About this job
Our company is hiring CDL Class A drivers out of Raleigh, NC for local, regional and over-the-road work. Runs are mostly in NC, SC, TN and VA, with some other Southeast lanes, and the position you get depends on your experience and eligibility.
Pay
- Weekly pay of $1,200-$1,740, with top performers reaching up to $2,000 a week
- Average yearly earnings of about $89,000
- Sign-on bonus of up to $3,000
- Stop pay of $15-$25 per stop
Routes and home time
- Pick local, regional or OTR work
- Home daily, weekly or every other week, depending on the route
- Freight ranges from touch freight to 100% no-touch
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely along your assigned routes
- Make pickups and deliveries on schedule
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs and follow DOT rules
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- Must satisfy DOT and company hiring standards
- Experience needed varies with the position you choose
- Applicants with a criminal record are welcome
