About this job
Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A company drivers to move brand-new Freightliner trucks to dealerships and fleet customers across the country. You drive the trucks themselves, with no trailers, no freight and no dock waits. Expect to be out for 2–3 weeks at a stretch.
Pay
- Weekly pay of $2,000 to $2,200, with about $2,000 a week on average
- Training and orientation are paid
How the job works
- Every night is spent in a hotel the company pays for, so no sleeping in the truck
- After each delivery, the company books your flight back to the terminal for the next run
- Flights, hotels, fuel and tolls are covered, and you keep your own airline and hotel reward points
Requirements
- CDL-A license
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Experience driving a manual transmission
- Able to stay on the road 2–3 weeks at a time
- Flatbed, open deck or OTR background is a plus, and a doubles/triples endorsement is preferred
