About this job

Our company is hiring 2 OTR box truck drivers to run a 26-foot air-ride box truck. Both CDL and Non-CDL drivers can apply, and the company covers fuel and truck upkeep so your pay comes straight from the load.

Pay

  • You keep 20% of every load you complete
  • This is a percentage-based job, not hourly or per-mile pay
  • Typical monthly pay runs $3,500.00 to $4,500.00

Home time

  • Plan on 3 weeks on the road followed by 1 week home

What you'll haul

  • Freight runs coast to coast in a 26-foot air-ride box truck
  • The company pays for diesel and all maintenance and repairs on the truck
  • Work is steady with consistent loads and miles

Requirements

  • A New Mexico driver's license, plus a current copy of your driving record (pull it from the NM MVD site)
  • CDL drivers need a valid CDL and the usual qualifications; Non-CDL drivers need a license that allows them to legally run a 26-foot box truck
  • A solid driving history is preferred, and box truck, freight, delivery or OTR experience is a plus
  • You'll need to pass background and driving-record checks along with drug/alcohol screening
  • Comfortable using an ELD and a smartphone to log hours and stay in touch with dispatch
  • Willing to commit to OTR routes for the full rotation

What the job involves

  • Running your box truck safely on OTR routes and picking up and delivering loads as dispatch directs
  • Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keeping the truck clean and road-ready
  • Securing cargo properly and keeping it protected in transit
  • Logging your hours accurately and turning in paperwork like bills of lading and proof of delivery
  • Speaking up right away if there's an accident, delay, breakdown, or cargo issue
  • Staying on top of DOT and FMCSA rules along with company safety standards

The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
