About this job
Our company is looking for a commercial truck driver in Santa Teresa, NM to handle a mix of equipment, including over-the-road tractors, roll offs, and yard dog/spotting vehicles. This is a full-time role, generally 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, with weekend work possible when needed.
What you'll do
- Safely run assigned equipment according to company procedure
- Complete all required DOT and company vehicle inspections on schedule
- Keep accurate daily logs and submit required paperwork
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
- Report any damage to company property
- Follow safety rules and treat coworkers, customers, and the public with respect
- Complete any requested training or certification
Physical demands
The job involves regular walking, standing, bending, sitting, and climbing stairs, plus occasional lifting of more than 50 pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid commercial driver's license; a CDL is a plus
- 3 to 5 years of commercial truck driving experience
- Yard dog driving experience preferred
