Our company is hiring a full-time OTR box truck driver for runs lasting about 3 weeks at a stretch. You'll need to be comfortable being away from home for that duration and ready to handle multiple markets along the way.
Pay
- You're paid 20% of applicable gross revenue, with the specifics of the percentage structure explained during hiring
- Estimated weekly pay is $800.00 to $1,200.00
Schedule
- Trips run OTR for roughly 3 weeks per cycle
- Be prepared for sustained time on the road away from home
What you'll haul
You'll run company box truck routes and deliveries across different markets while on the road.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of experience driving a box truck
- A valid driver's license
- A clean, dependable driving record is preferred
- Must clear the company's insurance qualification review (submitting your license info doesn't guarantee approval)
- Solid communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Comfortable handling an OTR schedule of around three weeks at a time
What the job involves
- Operating the box truck safely on assigned routes
- Keeping accurate trip and delivery paperwork
- Doing required vehicle inspections and keeping the truck clean and in good shape
- Staying in regular contact with dispatch, customers and management
- Following transportation and safety rules
- Representing the company professionally while out on the road
