About this job
This local delivery role has you driving a route truck to bring product to customers and handling the paperwork and loading that go with it. You'll need a Class C license and at least 6 months of driving experience, with route delivery experience preferred over OTR.
What you'll do
- Bring deliveries to customers along your route
- Load the truck when needed and handle pre-trip and post-trip checks, fueling, and logs
- Complete paperwork for completed routes and any returns
- Pick up inbound product when required
- Take payments from customers as needed
- Keep customers and management informed of any issues
Requirements
- At least 6 months of driving experience (1 year preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Class C driver's license at minimum
- A driving record that meets the company's insurability standards
- Able to lift 75 lbs and use a hand truck and pallet jack
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills, with a safety-first mindset and solid customer service
