Non-CDL Local Box Truck Driver — Weekly Pay, 1st Shift

CTDI, a large repair and logistics company serving major telecom and cable providers, needs a Non-CDL box truck driver for local deliveries around Logan Twp, NJ. You'll run a straight truck on nearby routes, handling cargo pickup and drop-off within the area.

Schedule and pay

• 1st shift, 6:00AM to 2:30PM, Monday through Friday

• 40-50 hours weekly, with 0-10 hours of overtime possible

• Paychecks issued every Thursday

• Pay starts at the rate listed in the posting

• Quarterly incentive bonus included

What you'll do

• Check the truck before and after each trip

• Keep accurate records: inspection forms, fuel and daily logs, bills of lading, trip sheets, and expense reports

• Load, secure, and unload cargo, or supervise others doing so

• Get required signatures on shipping and receiving paperwork

• Keep an eye on truck maintenance and repair needs\n- Deal with customers professionally and represent the company well

• Follow DOT and warehouse safety rules

• Take on other tasks as needed

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent commercial driving experience, or willingness to complete the company's training program

• Valid driver's license for your state of residence, with a clean record

• Dependable, adaptable, and reliable work habits

• Solid hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills

• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs when needed

• Comfortable with early shifts and long periods of sitting

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, technical service, or logistics is a plus

• You'll need a valid DOT Medical Card, or be able to get one within 10 days of starting
