Non-CDL Delivery Truck Driver — $19.00–$21.00/hr, Mon–Fri

Our company USA, an electrical products distributor, needs a delivery driver in Albany, NY to move materials between customers, branches and suppliers using a van or box truck. No CDL is required, and training is provided if you lack prior experience.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with a 2:30 AM to 11:30 AM shift

• Weekends off, plus paid holidays and paid time off

Pay

• $19.00 to $21.00 per hour in New York, based on your qualifications and experience

What you'll do

• Check your vehicle each day for problems and file an inspection report

• Keep the vehicle clean and in good repair, flagging any service needs

• Load and unload orders, confirming correct quantities and checking for damage

• Complete delivery paperwork, including signed receipts, packing lists and manifests

• Collect returned materials from customers and verify their condition and part numbers

• Pick up materials from suppliers

• Help out in the branch when needed, such as with sales, order prep or stocking

• More senior drivers may mentor and train newer team members

• Follow all DOT and state/local driving rules

Requirements

• Valid driver's license; company training required if you don't already have driving experience

• At least 21 years old

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, checked before hire and annually

• Current medical certificate (or proof within 60 days of starting), as legally required

• No license suspensions from an accident or violation in the last 3 years

• No at-fault accidents in the last 3 years

• Comfortable handling vehicle loads up to 26,000 GVW combined weight

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

• Solid grasp of traffic laws and safety rules, with good organization and customer service skills
