Non-CDL Delivery Driver — $24.61–$28.95/hr

Our company in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Non-CDL Driver to handle multi-stop foodservice deliveries in a company vehicle with a GVW up to 14,900 lbs. This is a 100% touch-freight role with hands-on unloading and customer interaction.

Pay

• Starting rate of $24.61 per hour plus overtime.

• Top performers may reach up to $28.95 per hour plus overtime.

• Base rate depends on experience, education, skills and location, and falls between $24.61 and $28.95 per hour.

Schedule and location

• Monday through Saturday, with two days off each week.

• Based out of Phoenix, AZ.

What the job involves

• Drive safely to complete timely deliveries to customer sites.

• Unload orders by hand, hand truck, or ramp and place them in the right storage spots.

• Carry products into buildings, including up and down stairs when needed.

• Confirm each delivery with the customer and get a signature.

• Track and process any returned goods.

• Report delivery or customer problems to Customer Service or your supervisor.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Collect payments on accounts when required.

• Take on other duties as assigned by management.

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull or lower items weighing 20 to 80+ lbs throughout each shift.

• Drive and work outdoors in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift.

• Work comfortably in temperatures as low as 0 degrees in multi-temp environments.

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach overhead, and use fine hand coordination.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Valid U.S. driver's license from your state of residence, with endorsements if required.

• No commercial driving experience necessary; one year of multi-stop delivery experience preferred, or six months of local delivery or foodservice experience.

• Hand cart delivery background is a plus.

• English proficiency needed to read road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports.

• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).

• Must pass a DOT physical.

• All drivers must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a federal database tracking drug and alcohol violations for CDL and CLP holders, as required by the Department of Transportation.
