About this job
Our company is looking for a full-time overnight box truck driver to run Amazon Relay routes out of Opelika, AL. You'll work a consistent schedule and be home every day, operating under a 1099 contract that may be temporary or ongoing.
What you'll do
- Drive assigned Amazon Relay routes overnight, following traffic laws and DOT rules
- Check the truck before and after each trip to make sure it's safe and working properly
- Load and unload freight, securing it properly along the way
- Get deliveries to the right place on time while keeping a professional, customer-friendly approach
- Keep accurate logs and paperwork as required
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers about schedules or any issues on the road
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (non-CDL) for operating this type of commercial vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug test, Amazon Relay background check, and DOT medical exam for your medical card
- Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-focused
Pay
$750.00 - $1,050.00 per week
Schedule
Overnight routes with daily home time.
