About this job
Our company is hiring Class A CDL yard truck drivers for a local, home-daily position in Madison, AL. You'll run a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with only occasional Saturday work, hauling no-touch freight.
Pay
- $1,400 - $1,600 per week, paid weekly
- Hourly pay with overtime after 40 hours
- Annual pay raises
Schedule
- 1st and 2nd shift openings
- 9-11 hours per day, 45-55 hours per week
- Typically only 1-2 Saturdays per month
- Full-time, long-term role
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer to move freight between designated locations
- Complete routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Stay on assigned routes and keep dispatch updated on your progress
Requirements
- At least 6 months of Class A tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 preventable DOT-recordable accident in the last 3 years
- Clean record with no past DOT drug or alcohol violations
