Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $25.50/hr, Home Nightly, Weekends Off

Ginsberg's Foods in Hudson, NY needs a full-time Non-CDL Box Truck Driver for local delivery routes. You'll be home every night with weekends off, running a Monday-Friday schedule with varying start and end times.

Pay

• $25.50 per hour

• Overtime after 40 hours

What you'll do

• Arrive early enough to prep before your scheduled departure

• Organize your paperwork and keep accurate daily logs

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle

• Match manifest invoice numbers to customer invoices and update as needed

• Drive safely and follow all DOT and traffic rules

• Hand-unload product at customer stops using a hand truck and ramps

• Carry product through coolers, freezers, stairs, ramps and uneven ground to the right storage area

• Handle customer interactions professionally, including resolving issues and collecting cash payments when required

• Occasionally run same-day or hot-shot deliveries between warehouses, cross docks or customer sites outside your normal route

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with no major violations in the last 36 months

• At least 1 year of non-CDL or box truck driving experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Able to lift and handle cases from 1 to 80 lbs

• Comfortable working on stairs, ramps, inclines and uneven surfaces

• Able to work in refrigerated and frozen areas

• Fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented and customer-focused
