Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $23–$24/hr

Our company in Englishtown, NJ needs a Non-CDL box truck driver to handle pickups and deliveries for customers and vendors, along with some warehouse support. You'll be behind the wheel of a company straight box truck, moving freight safely and keeping customers happy.

Pay

• $23.00 to $24.00 per hour

• Scheduled for 30 to 40 hours per week

What you'll do

• Drive a company straight box truck to pick up materials and supplies from vendors and deliver products to customers

• Load and unload freight, securing it properly so nothing gets damaged in transit

• Check shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery paperwork

• Collect customer signatures and keep delivery records accurate

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, flagging any maintenance or safety issues right away

• Keep the truck clean and in good order

• Pitch in on warehouse tasks like receiving goods, organizing stock, and prepping orders when needed

• Represent the company professionally and give customers good service

• Follow all safety rules and other duties as assigned

Where you'll drive

• Regular routes throughout New Jersey and nearby states

• Work happens in all kinds of weather

• Some overtime possible depending on business needs

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card)

• Able to safely operate a straight box truck

• Able to lift and move up to 75 pounds

• Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual

• Comfortable working independently with solid communication and customer service skills
