Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $200–$250/Day

Our company is looking for a box truck driver to handle deliveries on local and over-the-road routes out of Providence, RI. You'll drive trucks ranging from 24 to 26 feet, including refrigerated trailers, and keep deliveries moving on schedule while following all safety rules.

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in 24ft to 26ft box trucks, some of it refrigerated and frozen goods that need careful securing

• Loading and unloading by hand or with a forklift, with attention to weight distribution and proper cargo handling

What you'll do

• Drive safely on OTR and local routes, using GPS to plan efficient paths and hit delivery windows

• Run pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle checks to stay compliant with DOT standards

• Follow FMCSA and DOT rules, including those covering hazardous materials where they apply

• Keep communication clear and provide good service to customers along your route

Requirements

• Valid regular driver's license (no CDL required) and at least 21 years old

• Hands-on experience driving 26ft box trucks and making commercial deliveries

• Comfortable with refrigerated trailers

• Able to drive manual transmission and manage manual loading and unloading

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations, plus safety practices for hazardous or dangerous goods

• Experience using GPS systems for route planning

$200.00 to $250.00 per day
