About this job
Our company needs a full-time shuttle driver to run school bus routes for Bryant University, covering stops in Smithfield and Providence, RI. The shift runs 3pm to 10pm with no split shifts, and overtime is available.
Pay
- Starting base rate of $25/hour
- Optional Sunday shifts pay $37.50/hour
- Paid weekly

- School buses used for Bryant University transportation
Requirements
- Valid CDL-B or higher with passenger endorsement
- Valid medical card
- Must be 20 years old or older (insurance requirement)
- Strong customer service skills
- Must pass a background check and driving test
What the job involves
You'll greet and assist passengers, help them on and off the shuttle, and drive them safely between destinations while following all traffic laws. You'll stay in radio contact with management, other drivers and lot attendants, complete pre-trip inspections and required paperwork, track passenger counts and trip times, help set up and break down equipment like signs and cones, keep the shuttle clean, and report any mechanical issues to management.
