Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver — From $23/hr

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, distributes tires, undercar parts and lubricants to tire shops, repair shops and dealerships. This local delivery role puts you in a box truck under 26,001 pounds, and no CDL is required. The base starts at $23.00 an hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, plus rotating Saturdays

• You stay until the day's deliveries are finished, so expect roughly 8-12 hours and some overtime

• Hours can shift with business needs

What you'll do

• Run a route of 10-20 stops a day in any weather, arriving safely and on time

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each shift

• Keep accurate driver's logs, fuel records and any other paperwork required by company policy and law

• Scan and confirm each drop on a handheld device the company provides, and collect payment at delivery

• Help load and unload the truck, and sometimes run a forklift or pallet jack

Physical side of the job

• Regular lifting of about 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80

• Heavy commercial tires are handled with team lifts or mechanical equipment

• Pushing force of up to 40 pounds when moving barrels and industrial or farm tires

• Safety gear is supplied except steel or composite toe boots, which are reimbursed

Requirements

• Age 21 or older

• At least 1 year of professional driving in a cube van, box truck or semi, and a passed company road test

• Valid driver's license, a good driving record under the company's policy, and a valid DOT medical card

• Pre-employment drug test (THC is not tested)

• Willingness to be trained on forklifts and high-reach lifts

• Good customer service and ability to follow safety procedures

• Current US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is offered
