CDL-A Truck Driver — $100,000–$120,000/yr

Spherion is hiring CDL A drivers for a food and beverage client based in Essex Junction, VT. You would play a part in the country's food supply chain, working a 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule.

Pay

• $100,000 to $120,000 a year; the final offer depends on your education, experience, location, duties and certifications.

What you'll do

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of your tractor and trailer according to DOT rules.

• Report any safety problems or repairs that are needed.

• Follow DOT regulations and the company's safe driving policies.

• Deal with customers, vendors and teammates in a professional, timely way.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.

• At least 21 years old.

• High school diploma, GED or state-approved equivalent.

• Any state licensing or certification that applies.

• Helpful: foodservice distribution background, experience with onboard computers and electronic logs (such as PeopleNet), handheld proof-of-delivery scanners, and customer service work.
