Local Shuttle Driver — $22.30/hr

Our company is looking for a part-time Shuttle Driver in Richmond, BC to move freight between facilities and within the building. This is an interview position paying $22.30 an hour, working the 1:30pm to 8:00pm shift.

Pay

What you'll do

• Load and unload freight, scan and sort it, and shuttle it between and within facilities using a non-articulated vehicle

• Check package size and weight, and route items by service type and destination

• Keep your vehicle clean and handle basic upkeep

• Follow safety and security procedures for packages, equipment and vehicles

• Occasionally handle emergency pickups or deliveries, generally no more than 10% of the time

• If assigned temperature-controlled work, inspect and troubleshoot the unit and follow procedures to protect cargo temperature

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid, unrestricted Class 5/Class G license with a clean driving record (two or fewer violations or accidents in the past 24 months)

• Able to lift 70 lbs on your own or handle up to 150 lbs with equipment or help

• Must complete required training and recertifications

• Bilingual in French and English if based in Quebec

• Good interpersonal skills
