Local Pickup & Delivery Driver — $24/hr, Temporary

This is a temporary courier role with our company in Richmond, BC, lasting up to 12 weeks depending on business needs. You'll handle pickups and deliveries on an assigned local route while representing the company professionally.

Pay

• $24 an hour

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off packages along your route

• Check shipments to make sure they meet company service standards

• Load your vehicle and plan an efficient route

• Keep accurate records of stops and any missorted packages

• Use onboard tracking and dispatch systems

• Answer customer questions about shipping services and requirements

• Flag sales opportunities to the sales team

• Occasionally help load or unload aircraft or containers, scan packages, and sort freight

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• No prior experience necessary, though a year of customer service experience is a plus

• Valid driver's license (such as class 5, G, or 1/AZ)

• No more than two driving infractions or accidents in the last 24 months

• Must pass driving record review, interview, and driving evaluation

• Bilingual (French/English) required for positions based in Quebec
