Local Parts Delivery Driver — $19.00/hr, Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Our company in Buffalo, NY 14227 needs a delivery driver to run local parts routes, handling loading, unloading and paperwork along the way. You'll drive a company vehicle on a set weekday schedule.

Pay

• $19.00 per hour, plus benefits

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

What you'll do

• Operate a company vehicle safely, following traffic laws and avoiding accidents

• Load the truck at the warehouse and check the vehicle's condition along with the manifest and delivery paperwork

• Unload parts at each stop, confirm the order matches what's delivered, and get a signature from the receiving party

• Note any returns on the manifest and hand over receipts for parts sent back to the location

• Collect payments from customers when required

• Keep up with required annual training and follow company policies

• Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules

• Deliver good customer service at every stop

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• Minimum age 21

• Must qualify for the company's insurance programs, including vehicle coverage

• Must meet DOT physical and testing standards and know DOT rules

• Able to follow state, local, DOT and FMCSA regulations

• Able to lift as much as 75 pounds and handle physical tasks like bending, climbing, kneeling and standing for long stretches

• Comfortable working around vehicles in tight or awkward spaces, sometimes in extreme temperatures or loud conditions, and wearing protective gear as needed

• Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be part of the role

A high school diploma or GED, six months of delivery driving experience, and warehouse background are preferred but not required.
